Robert-Travis-Smith---Macro-Photography

This guy does amazing macro pics, which is a passion of mine ,but has a great sense of composition and colour because without such they can look a bit gruesome.

Taken from his flickr account:

Robert Trevis-Smith is from Stirling in Scotland, currently studying towards a BSc Natural Sciences Honours Degree with The Open University (completed by the end of 2013). “I have been hugely interested in wildlife for as long as I can remember and figured a good understanding of the natural world would compliment this. For that reason I’ve been studying our planet from the bottom-up. Geology, environmental science, ecosystems, oceanography, evolution, also with a good understanding of the scientific basics – atoms to the universe!”

.cforce NO CURVES

I love this guys work. Based in Western Samoa, it shows there is no isolation when you have talent these days. NC is known for his unique and geometric style, characterized by the total absence of curves and roundness, he realizes his artworks exclusively with adhesive tape. Working on every type of surface, going from streets’s walls and advertising posters until art galleries and disused factories, NO CURVES traces his path with scissor’s strokes and adhesive tapes. A path that in the last years leaded to prestigious collaborations with international brands, agencies and galleries including Adidas, Smart, Converse & Footlocker, Rolling Stone Magazine, and many more.

I’ve always been influenced by the music of Queen, and photography is a passion on mine. So when Brian May, Queen’s guitarist, started blogging about his life-long interest in stereo (3D) photography I had to give it a try. The ultimate subject for me was when Queen played a couple of exclusive gigs at Hammersmith Apollo in 2012 with Adam Lambert as their lead singer. This venue is a key location in the history of Queen, with their legendary Christmas Eve concert in 1975 having been filmed there. I got some great shots and was delighted when Brian May himself endorsed them and put them on his website.
